Medical University of Lodz

The Medical University of Lodz, is one of the biggest research and medical practice centers in Poland as well as in the Central and Eastern Europe region. Its proven track of successful scientific programs has brought the University international recognition and robust cooperative network with over 20 foreign partner universities and research communities from Germany, France, Great Britain, Spain, the Netherlands, and Canada. Benefiting from modern infrastructure and talent resources, the University is dedicated to serve the community by developing leading health care systems, innovative (bio)technologies as well as training professionals in the fields of treatment and research.

One of the most significant points of the University’s strategy is to create a medical incubator providing first class laboratory and research facilities for domestic and foreign biotechnology companies. The Incubator is particularly dedicated to R&D divisions of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. It provides not only infrastructure, but also a friendly and stimulating scientific and clinical environment. Located nearby one of the biggest university hospitals in Poland, the incubator is aimed to provide integrated stimulus to ambitious research and delivery of innovative medical products. The city of Lodz has an advantageous geographical location for setting up a business. Situated in the very center of Poland and the CEE region at the same time, Lodz has infrastructure and good international connection to support cross border initiatives.
